Over the past two months, several interesting events have taken place.

1. Belarus Open 2019 (Minsk, May 25-26). An in-person official tournament where the title of champion of Belarus was played, as well as five places in the national team of Belarus at the 2019 Nations Cup. Igor Shlimak won, the second place was taken by Kirill Kozhemyakin, the third - Konstantin Zakharevich. Since Shlimak is a citizen of Russia, Kozhemyakin received the title of champion of Belarus. In addition to Kozhemyakin and Zakharevich, the national team of Belarus included Arthur Lisitsky, Andrei Andrush, and Petr Sheshlyonok.

2. Challenge Cup 2019 (June 11-16). The official online tournament in which the leaders of the rating list could not participate. The first place was taken by Grigol Papunashvili (Georgia), the second - Natalia Matyazh (Ukraine), the third - Nikita Shokarev (Russia).

3. Ukrainian Cup 2019 (June 24-30). The official online tournament where five places were played in the national team of Ukraine at the 2019 Nations Cup. Oksana Dymarchuk won, the second place was taken by Oleg Anokhin, the third - Alexander Belevsky. The fourth ticket to the Nations Cup was received by Nikolai Rybalkin, while the fifth remains vacant.

4. Ukrainian Open 2019 (Kiev, August 3rd). An in-person official tournament where the title of champion of Ukraine was played. Alexander Belevsky won, the second place was taken by Evgeny Teslyuk, the third - Arthur Lisitsky (Belarus).

On August 25, the 2019 Open Cup finished. Andrei Khodyrev (Ukraine) won the gold medal, Arthur Lisitsky (Belarus) became the silver medalist, Sergei Nosanov (Russia) became the bronze medalist.

2019 Cup of Nations completed. The Russian team retained its title, with great difficulty defeating the Ukrainian team in a decisive match. Belarus is the third.

The Regular Championship of 2019 has ended. Sergei Chernobrovin conquered the next height, having won a gold medal and the title of regular champion. Andrei Khodyrev improved his result compared to last year - second place and silver. The victor of the previous two seasons, Alexander Shevtsov, failed to make a hat-trick, rolling in the end to bronze positions.

The 2019 Candidates Tournament is completed. Oksana Dymarchuk won a landslide victory, having suffered only one defeat in fourteen rounds. In January, she will have a championship match with Sergei Chernobrovin. Following Oksana Sergey Fedotov finished, the third place was taken by Alexander Shevtsov.
